First Snow Already?

Jake & I went to the temple Friday night & it was raining as we walked inside. A couple hours later, we walked outside & there was snow on the ground. We couldn't believe it!! This is the earliest we have ever had snow in Boise. The cars were covered, but it wasn't sticking to the ground. We went to bed & when I woke up this morning, the mountains were covered with snow. I love seeing snow, but I am definitely not ready for winter to begin. I feel like we had such a short summer & hardly any fall. I hope this isn't the end of fall--I want to enjoy the colorful leaves on the trees with some sunshine & a little bit of warmth. The weather report says it should be in the low 70's by next weekend so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
