Finally Brave Enough!

Nicole & Allie have been a little nervous to hold Brittany's bird, Jiffy. 3 months later, they have finally built up enough courage to let Jiffy sit on their hand. Now that they have done it & see that Jiffy is nice, they won't leave him alone. We'll see if Jiffy keeps putting up with all the attention or if he decides to let them know he wants to be left alone. Hopefully he is very tolerant--for Nicole & Allie's sake. =)

Extreme Makeover Home Edition

In Middleton, Idaho, Ty Pennington brought his crew to build a home for a family. It's about 30 minutes from our house, so we drove down there to check it out (and see if we could get a glimpse of TY or any other crew member). We had to park at the high school & then were bussed to the house area. There were security points so no cars could get through unless they lived nearby. We went on the 4th day & the house was pretty much done. We saw the landscaping being put in. Unfortunately we didn't see any of the TV crew, but it was still amazing to see how many volunteers were there working hard in the 100+ degree weather to get the house done before the family came back. The show is supposed to air in October, so we are excited to see it on TV.

4th of July Family Reunion

Every year, we go up to Becca's parents' cabin in McCall, Idaho to celebrate the 4th of July. The weather was great & we spent most of the time playing in the water, building sand castles, fishing, eating, watching fireworks and just hanging out. We always have a lot of fun & look forward to this reunion every year.
