Field Day at School

Today, Jake & I volunteered to help at the school for Field Day. I loved Field Day growing up & I am so glad my kids get to experience it, too. The PE teacher is in charge & comes up with all kinds of different stations for the kids to rotate around. It's a bunch of fun, crazy games--potato hockey, water relays, slip-n-slide, basketball w/grown-up clothes on, etc. The kids seemed to have a great time. Fortunately the weather held out & didn't rain on us. It had rained everyday for the last few days & the clouds today seemed like it may happen again. It would have been nice to have it a little warmer--there were a few kids just shivering from being wet & then having the wind blow on them. Overall, it was a great success & my kids were very happy with how it turned out.
