13th Anniversary!!

We celebrated our 13th Anniversary. Jake had to work on the night or our anniversary so we went out that next weekend. We went to a fabulous restaurant--The Melting Pot. We had heard wonderful things about it & fortunately Jake got a gift card to there from work cause it was pricey. This was a fondue place with 3 different courses--appetizer, main dish & dessert. I loved the cheese w/veggies, bread & apples and then the chocolate/caramel fondue with strawberries, brownies, pound cake, bananas, marshmallows, etc. It was soooo gooood!!! The main course was good, but the cheese & chocolate were my favorites. I would love to go back, but it may be an anniversary tradition. We then went shopping for a new leather chair. We decided to buy a new one for our bedroom for our anniversary gift. We looked around a bit & finally found one at Target. It's not your typical plush recliner, but has more of a modern look with clean lines. I am very happy with it.
I love Jake & have had the most amazing life with him. We have had experiences together I would have never imagined. Times are not always easy in life, but with him by my side I know we can get through anything. I look forward to many more years with him. I love you, Jake!!
