Playing in the Leaves

I love FALL!! The colors are so beautiful. I so wish that this time of year would last longer than just a few weeks. I really have to treasure each day I go out & see the trees & bushes change from greens to reds to golden yellow. Once the leaves fall on the ground, I can't resist to rake them up into piles & play. My parents have the perfect trees in their yard for this activity. Their trees are so big that it takes several times to rake up all the leaves before they have finally all fallen. I have taken my kids over the more than once this year to enjoy this fun play time. It's so fun to see them watch the piles grow bigger & bigger & then jump into them & throw the leaves up in the air. The beautiful colors & the sounds of laughter--what could be better?
