Disneyland & California Adventure!!

The Yorgason family had a vacation together down to Disneyland. We decided to go there in April, hoping it wouldn't be too busy or too hot. Well, the first day was not too bad (Thurs), but Friday & Saturday were very busy. The weather was good for 2 days, but on Friday it poured rain!! We stuck it out, bought ponchos & ran inside stores when it got real bad. Always makes it more interesting. Here are a few highlights from our trip...

We ate breakfast at Minnie's place & got pictures with her & many of her friends.

The roller coasters have always been a favorite for Melissa & Brittany, but Nicole surprised us this time & went on all the ones she could ride. Space Mountain was one of her favorites. You can barely see her eyes peeking over the bar. She loved to scream--I laughed more at her screaming than from the thrill of the ride.

Small World is definitely a classic & loved by everyone.

The girls loved looking for souvenirs.

Nicole celebrated her 5th birthday at Disneyland. She got a special birthday badge to wear & was wished "Happy Birthday" throughout the whole trip.

She got to go to the princess fantasy fair & get her hair done up to look like a princess. Sleeping Beauty is her favorite princess right now. She looked so cute & I think she really felt like a princess today.

The girls always have fun when they are with their cousins. Here they are with Kristen & Rachel.

Even though it rained, we stayed as long as we could. Becca & her sisters, Deborah & Martha, tried to keep their little ones dry & comfy in their strollers.

We had a little bit of a lay over on the way home, so the girls made themselves comfortable on the floor at the airport & enjoyed a movie & their books. We have travelled quite a bit over the past few years, so they have gotten used to entertaining themselves while we wait to get to the next destination. It sure makes travelling so much easier.
